MOUNTAIN GOAT HUNTS.
Mountain Goat hunts are conducted in Prince William Sound in the Chugach National Forest guiding concession.
This area has a high population of large mature male goats and you won't waste time climbing mountains in the hope of seeing goats. You will see goats every day and the only time you will climb is when a trophy billy is spotted.
Hunt dates
September 15th to September 22nd.
September 24th to October 1st.
October 3rd to October 10th.
Getting There.
Clients fly a scheduled flight to Valdez where you will be met at the Best Western and returned there at the end of your 7 day Trophy Mountain Goat hunt.
There is a charter fishing booking agent in the lobby of the Hotel should you wish to partake in some world class sports fishing before or after your hunt.
Hunt Costs.
Mt Goat 1x1 US$ 8,500.00
A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking, with the balance due 30 days prior to the start of the hunt.
License Costs
US non Resident Hunting License.......US$85.00
Tag Fees: Mt Goat US$300.00
Summary
Mountain Goat hunts can be physically demanding and your level of fitness could determine the outcome of your hunt.
We strongly advise clients to undertake and continue a physical fitness program 6 months prior to and right up to your hunt date. Although a demanding hunt, a Mountain Goat is a spectacular trophy and this is an extremely rewarding hunt.
