Ibex hunt in the Tajikistan Pamir

Australian Hunting Consultants in conjunction with our Russian outfitting partners are delighted to offer again this year our ibex hunt in the Tajikistan Pamir.

The hunt will take place at the end of October and the beginning of November (exact dates to be announced) out of our permanent camp, only accessible by helicopter.

Again we are able to offer a limited number of Marco Polo Argali as an add on to this hunt at an incredible discounted price. Read about this hunt in "Wild Deer Hunting Adventures" June /July issue page 130.

The duration of the hunt is 9 to 10 days in total with 6 to 7 full days of hunting. We will be flying Via Istanbul Turkey to Bishkek Kirgistan where there will be an overnight stay to arrange Kirgistan and Tajikistan visa's. There is a 50-minute flight to Osh where the helicopter will be boarded for the 1-hour flight to the "top of the world" base camp.

Hunting will be done with the use of horses and each hunter will have at least 1 guide usually 2. Some hunts will be done from the many smaller huts scattered around the mountains as well as from the base camp. Accommodation is basic but comfortable in stone buildings with kitchen and bathroom facilities
