
Hunting for Giant Moose Omolon River.
This is a hunt especially for hunters wishing to trophy a huge moose. The area where this hunt takes place is located on the border with Chukotka and is the ideal habitat for these massive moose with antlers up to 108 cm or 70 inch plus.
The area is very remote and therefore it is nessary to transport hunters and guides to and from camp by helicopter. Your chances of securing a great trophy bull are very high.

Accommodation
In warm tents with stoves, one tent for 2-3 hunters. There is also a kitchen, bathroom and dining tent.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Magadan from Moscow, then transfer to the Village of Seymchan by bus. 550 klm approximately 11 hours.
Day 2: Transfer to Omolon Village by helicopter 2.5 hours then travel up river by boat. Overnight spike camp.
Day 3: Arrival at base camp.
Day 4-11: 8 full days hunting.
Day 12-14: Return trip to Magadan for overnight stay prior to departure.

Seasons
September 5 to October 15.
Group Size
Up to 8 hunters.
Hunting Methods
This hunt is conducted during the rut with the use of boats and fly camps for two to four nights. Also dogs are available to find and track moose. Hunting is on foot.

Cost Includes
Cost of license, organisation of hunters visa requirements, gun permits, meeting and customs clearance in Moscow and Magadan, transfer by bus to and from Magadan, helicopter flight to and from base camp, guiding, food and accommodation during hunt, trophy field preparation and import and export permits
Not included in Cost
Group transfer in Moscow US$300, overnight accommodation in Moscow and Magadan (if nessasary) and airline tickets.
