Hunting Methods
Hunting is 100% fair chase during the Maral rut. Bugling techniques similar to those used in the USA are used as well as spot and stalk. Horses and mules are used during the hunt but a fair level of fitness is required on this hunt and your fitness may determine the quality of trophy that you are able to harvest.
There is also the opportunity to harvest wolf, bear and roebuck on this hunt if these animals are spotted during your Maral hunt. Skins are fleshed, salted and dried in the field in preparation for you to take the trophy home or to have it shipped at a later date.

This hunt is a real adventure in a country steeped in hunting tradition from the days of Genghis Khan. The biggest advantage with this hunt is you can take any size Maral without paying extra per kilo as is the case with most outfitters. You can also add on an Ibex hunt (5 day hunt) in a different area before or after your Maral hunt for an extra cost.
