Hunting Area

The hunting areas are Dschungarian Alatau or the Ili- Alatau National Park.

Transport

Hunters will fly to Almaty via Europe. There they will be met and transferred to the hunting camp by vehicle, 6 to 12 hours depending on which hunting camp.

Accommodation

Warm tents or yurts with wooden floors and stove. One tent or yurt for 3-4 hunters.

Seasons

September 10 to October 15 . 10 to 11 days trip 7 to 8 hunting days.

Group Size

2 hunters in Ili-Alatau camp and 2 to 4 hunters in Dschungarian Alatau camp.

Hunting Methods

Overnight in base camp then transfer to hunting area by horses. Horses are used during the hunt and fly camps may be used for 2 to 3 nights. Hunting is at 2000 to 3000 metres altitude.

Cost Includes

Organisation of hunters visa requirements, acquisition of rifle permit, meeting and clearing of customs in all airports, transport to and from the hunting camp, guiding, interpreter, food and accommodation, field preparation of trophies and export permits.

Not included in Cost

Airline tickets, VIP service in Almaty airport US$125, overnight hotel in Almaty if necessary, transfers US$125 per group.
