Hunting Area
Our Russian partner has secured the 22,000-hectare private hunting estate of a Russian billionaire and has been conducting hunts for the last 2 years with outstanding results. Siberian roebuck (Capreolus pygargus) are much larger than their European cousins (Capreolus capreolus) with bucks weighing in at 50 kg and standing 1 metre at the shoulder
Transport
Hunters will fly to Moscow where they will be met by the outfitter who will assist with customs and rifles. You will then board a domestic flight to Chelyabinsk around 2-hour flight. Upon arrival at Chelyabinsk you will be transported the 320 klm to the hunting lodge by vehicle around 3 hours duration.
Accommodation
You will stay in private well-appointed personal cabins with a maximum group size of 5 hunters. All meals and drinks are provided not including alcoholic beverages. Of course, there is the Russian sauna for those who wish to partake in this tradition.
Seasons
Season runs from 25th August to September 15 . 10 to 11 days trip 7 to 8 hunting days.
Group Size
2 hunters in Ili-Alatau camp and 2 to 4 hunters in Dschungarian Alatau camp.
Hunting Methods
Overnight in base camp then transfer to hunting area by horses. Horses are used during the hunt and fly camps may be used for 2 to 3 nights. Hunting is at 2000 to 3000 metres altitude.
Not included in Cost
Airline tickets, Transfers in Moscow, Hotels before and after the hunt.

Insurance
Whilst all reasonable care will be taken during your stay, hunting is a potentially hazardous pursuit and your guide or his staff will not be held responsible for loss or injury that may occur.
We strongly advise all our hunters to arrange adequate insurance prior to leaving your home. All our hunters will be supplied with our Terms and Conditions and Indemnity Forms prior to the hunt commencement.

Please note that access to many International hunting grounds may require aerial and/or unusual forms of ground transportation such as snowmobiles etc. These forms of transport can be susceptible to the effects of extreme and unforeseeable weather shifts.
